Gyra-Caster Roller Horizontal Centrifugal Casting Machine

There are two distinct versions of the Gyra-Caster Roller Horizontal Machine, which is a supporting roller type machine, manufactured by Gibson’s these are:

GCRH A Centrifugal Casting Machine

GCRH R Machine with extractor/spraying machine

The GCRH A type machine for general-purpose applications, designed and manufactured for flexibility of length and diameter of casting. This type of machine is particularly suitable for longer length castings like reformer tubes.

GCRH R Machine with counter balanced guard

The GCRH R type machine is available for volume products that require less flexibility in adjustment for length.

These rigid reliable machines can be used to make bushes, barrels, tubes and rolls for the food industry. Rolls both for the steel rolling and furnace run-out rolls, radiant heating tubes, reformer tubes, marine diesel liners and bimetal rolls for steel rolling mills, plus many other applications. Models are available that will exceed 25 tonne capacity. The machines use a variety of mould medias; permanent moulds of forged steel or cast iron steel flasks housing graphite or sand rammed lined moulds.

The GCRH range of machines can be supplied with a variety of mould/casting handling equipment, which will be tailor-made to the customers exact requirements for production and budget. For moulds up to 3000mm long there is another fully automated version of this machine available, the SHPP High Production Gyra Caster ideally suited for cylinder liner, rainwater and soil pipe production.

Two distinct versions

• A’ Type for general purpose fully adjustable
• ‘R’ Type for volume products limited length adjustment

Suitable for manufacturing Tubes, Bearings, Cylinders, Bushes, Rolls and sleeves in most castable alloys.
